WWII Memorial: Jewel of the Mall

In 2002, I began the documentation of the WWII Memorial.  My first real look was in Chester, Pa where I first saw the 19 foot high eagles being assembled on a trial run before they were installed in DC.  The then bronze colored eagles were magnificent and it was then I decided to cover the "lost wax" process from design through creation to installation on the DC Mall.
